FRANK JOUBERT HOSTEL
Stability and success due to cooperation and teamwork
Boys’ hostels are never contented places unless the inner needs of the boys are satisfied. We at Frank Joubert are extremely lucky to have matrons and kitchen staff of high calibre to provide for the needs of the boys in our care

Hostel boys have the opportunity to be elected as councillors and these councillors play a valuable role as leaders, and they serve as a vital link between staff and boys.

Two things that have always been the cornerstones of Frank Joubert Hostel and which have made a contribution to the entire college are Tradition and Excellence. Tradition (eg. Hostel monitoring system) plays an extremely important part in the life of boys in this hostel. The second aspect is excellence; both academic and sporting. This is an integral part of what Frank Joubert Hostel stands for.

COLLEGE HOUSE
College House is a young hostel filled with culture and tradition. College house is one of the newest buildings at Dale College yet it is able to hold onto the moral standards set by the old boys of the College.
The two hostels: College House and Frank Joubert are the backbone of the school, dominating learner affairs through the development of student leaders. College House is supervised by duty masters and four prefects. College House is for grade 8 and 9’s only and produces true and devoted citizens for Dale College and our fine country, South Africa!

Show Boarding Schools

As shown above we list all boarding school information. We make it easy for you to contact any boarding school directly. in addition you can find schools in a similar area or province.

A boarding school provides education for pupils who live on the premises, as opposed to a day school. The word “boarding” is used in the sense of “room and board” i.e., lodging and meals. As they have existed for many centuries, and now extend across many countries, their function and ethos varies greatly.

Fewer Distractions. Boarding school students can focus better on their studies because television, video games, phones and other distractors are limited. These young scholars usually perform better academically because they live in an environment that is conducive to learning.
